"Ranch-boss
Carley Moore" demonstrating the correct way to subdue a doe kid for the
endless web-site photo sessions.
Freja Gebhard (pronounced
Fri-ah like Friday) hands one of her new boer kids to Jamie Wildman during
his recent visit to Gedemark goat ranch in Eastern Washington State. Jamie and
his brother Benjamin played with the goats, petted the llama and threw a stick
for the dog. They even saw the peacock [Big Bird] spread his tail and do a little
dance for them. But when it was all done, they were most impressed with Freja's
friendly parakeet that would sit on their fingers.
Nancy Wilson's daughter,
just two at the time, helping wash a goat (young buck) at The IBGA Western Nationals,
September 1999. The kid won his class so the bath must have worked!
These 2 lads, their dad,
and a gentle giant of a buck were photographed at the 2001 Nationals. Who's
family is this?
